Bring your own license — stay compliant, stay private
Connect your key
Paste your PitchBook or Crunchbase API key in your profile. It's stored in your account only — other users never see it.
Build private datasets
Pull companies from your feed into named datasets — your screens, your watchlists — invisible to everyone but you.
See your edge on the map
Your private valuations and revenue figures overlay the public company profiles, so the shared map becomes your personal briefing.
Provable isolation: private rows are scoped to your account by PostgreSQL row-level security — enforced in the database itself, not just the app. Your licensed data never enters the shared corpus and is never shown to another user, which keeps you inside your data provider's terms of service.

Questions, answered
Do I need my own PitchBook or Crunchbase subscription?
Yes — Pro is bring-your-own-license. Your provider's terms only entitle you to their data, so Edward keeps it in your private workspace rather than redistributing it. You pay us for the workflow, not the data.
Who can see my private data?
Only you. Isolation is enforced by PostgreSQL row-level security in the database itself — private rows physically cannot be returned to another user's session, even in the event of an application bug.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted. Your datasets stay safely stored (and just as private); the private-data workspace simply locks until you upgrade again. You can also delete everything yourself at any time.
What exactly does Basic add?
The bench — Edward's map-building workspace. Pin companies from anywhere, drag them into your own segments, nest sub-segments, apply derived market lenses (stack, customers, dynamics, landscape), compare companies in the cockpit, and save or export any map you build.
How does billing work?
$10/month for Basic or $20/month for Pro, via Stripe — cancel anytime from your profile and your plan stays active through the end of the billing period.
Start free. Go Basic the day you want to build your own map — and Pro the day your own data should be on it.
