Founded in 2012 in Zurich by Cristian Grossmann and Flavio Pfaffhauser, Beekeeper built a mobile-first workforce communications platform designed for frontline and deskless employees. The platform combines messaging, task management, document sharing, and workflow automation into a single app. Beekeeper served industries like hospitality, manufacturing, retail, and construction, with customers including London Heathrow Airport, Hilton Hotels, and Domino's Pizza. The platform supported 30+ languages across 130+ countries. In July 2025, Beekeeper was acquired by LumApps, a French digital workplace platform.
