About

Founded in 2012 by Adolfo Babatz in Mexico City, Clip is Mexico's leading digital commerce and payments platform, providing point-of-sale terminals and payment acceptance technology to hundreds of thousands of small and medium businesses. The company builds its hardware and software in-house, with products including multiple POS devices and the Clip Ultra launched in August 2025. Clip became a unicorn after a $250M investment from SoftBank and Viking Global.
