About

Founded in 2017 and based in New York, Boost is a full-stack digital insurance infrastructure platform that packages compliance, reinsurance capital, and technology into a single API-based solution for program builders and MGAs. Partners use Boost to design, launch, and distribute insurance products without needing their own carrier license or balance sheet. Since writing its first program in 2019, Boost has underwritten approximately $200 billion in aggregate coverage across programs including SMB Commercial Cyber, Startup Management Liability, Parental Leave, and Pet Health Insurance. Core strategic reinsurance partners include Markel, RenaissanceRe, and Canopius. In early 2025, Boost secured a major investment from BHMS, expanding its reinsurance panel.
