Founded in 2018 in Seattle by Neil Serebryany, CalypsoAI developed an AI security and trust platform providing real-time scanning, monitoring, and policy enforcement for large language models and generative AI applications. The platform offered an AI gateway detecting prompt injection attacks, data leakage, hallucinations, and policy violations. CalypsoAI served government agencies including the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence community, as well as Fortune 500 enterprises. In September 2025, CalypsoAI was acquired by F5 Networks for $180M.
