Traceable AI
API security and threat detection platform
About
Founded in 2018 by serial entrepreneur Jyoti Bansal and Sanjay Nagaraj in San Francisco, spun out of BIG Labs, the startup studio Bansal created after selling AppDynamics to Cisco for $3.7B. Traceable provides an API security platform that discovers, tests, and protects APIs using AI-driven threat detection and behavioral analysis across the full application lifecycle. In February 2025, Traceable merged with Harness (also co-founded by Bansal) to create an AI-native DevSecOps platform with 1,100 employees and $250M in expected 2025 annualized revenue.
